In agency news, Stephanie Kip Rostan has been made at partner at Levine Greenberg, and the agency has officially changed its name to the Levine Greenberg Rostan Literary Agency. She has been with the agency for 13 years. Jim Levine says in the announcement, “We know why Stephanie’s clients love her. She’s smart as can be, with a sense of strategy that is only equaled by her sense of humor.”  Daniel Greenberg adds, “She’s both a leader and a team player, and we’re delighted to have her as our partner.” Their web domain is also changing, to lgrliterary.com, but emails to the previous addresses will forward automatically.

In the UK, Margaret Halton will move to United Agents in late July as joint head of adult foreign rights, working with Linda Shaughnessy. She has been a director in the foreign rights department at Rogers, Coleridge & White.

Shana Drehs has been promoted to editorial director, Sourcebooks Landmark and Gift.

Farin Schlussel will join Little, Brown Children’s as marketing coordinator on June 2. She was a marketing and publicity Coordinator at Gotham and Avery. In promotions, Pam Gruber moves up to editor, and Pam Garfinkel, Deirdre Jones, and Leslie Shumate have all been promoted to associate editor.

Victoria Craven has joined The Monacelli Press as executive editor for fine and applied arts, starting June 2. She was most recently editorial director of Watson-Guptill, Potter Craft, and Amphoto Books.

John D’Esposito has joined Mary Anne Thompson Associates as a scout. Previously he was a foreign rights associate at Trident Media Group.

IPG is now distributing titles from Charlie Girl & Co., Pitchstone Publishing, The Popular Book Company, Dry Climate Studios, Tuva Publishing, Rosarium Publishing and The Wine Appreciation Guild. In addition, Trafalgar Square Publishing will distribute titles by Racing Post Books beginning on January 1, 2015.

Correcting the listing of Eric Schmidt & Jonathan Rosenberg’s book listed in our nonfiction roundup of forthcoming fall/winter titles, the title is HOW GOOGLE WORKS, published by Business Plus. We also listed an incorrect title for Ben Tripp’s young adult novel; it’s called THE ACCIDENTAL HIGHWAYMAN.
