In the UK, literary agent Anita Land has split with partner since 2000 Georgina Capel to set up a new agency, the Bookseller reports. Capel & Land is changing its name to Georgina Capel Associates.

Movies
Emma Watson is joining Tom Hanks to star in the movie version of Dave Eggers‘ The Circle, which is due to start filming in September.
Separately, John Green announced that Paramount has hired Becca Thomas to direct the movie version of Looking for Alaska.
Relocating
The Center for Fiction — which sold the Mercantile Library building on 48th Street that it has occupied since the 1930s for $18 million — plans to relocate to Brooklyn in 2017, to a new space being built in the Brooklyn Cultural District. Executive director tells the Brooklyn Eagle the organization will spend $5.5 million for the new space, and indicates that they will be able to stay in the Mercantile building until the new space is ready.
