Printing giant RR Donnelley has been the focus of market rumors this week. At first, Bloomberg said that Xerox — which is planning to split itself into two companies — was talking about acquiring Donnelley (which has said it wants to divide itself into three separate entities).
But an updated report from the WSJ reverses the story and says that Donnelley was looking to acquire Xerox’s document business (the other line is their business process outsourcing). The paper says the Xerox board rejected the plan on Thursday.
