Forthcoming
As expected, Penguin Random House confirmed that the company will publish directly around the world the recently-acquired books by former president Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama. Viking UK will publish in the UK, ANZ, India, Ireland, and South Africa. Local imprints were not named for the other territories yet, but PRH will publish in Spanish in Spain, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and the US. PRH Grupo Editorial will publish in Portugal as well, with the company’s Companhia das Letras publishing in Brazil. The separate “sister company” Random House Germany will also co-publish.
