October Buzz Books Monthly

September 4, 2018By Erin Somers

We continue to preview fall’s big titles in our October Buzz Books Monthly, available now on Amazon, iBooks, and NetGalley.

In this sampler, you’ll find exclusive excerpts of seven titles being released in October, including Barbara Kingsolver’s new novel Unsheltered, Diane Chamberlain’s The Dream Daughter, and Lisa Gabriele’s The Winters, a contemporary version of the Daphne du Maurier classic Rebecca.

Also in this edition are two highly anticipated literary followups: Sarah Perry’s Melmoth and Leif Engers’ Virgil Wander. The final fiction entry is The Travelling Cat Chronicles, an international bestseller from Japanese author Hiro Arikawa. Rounding out the selection is historian Stephen L. Carter’s nonfiction work Invisible: The Forgotten Story Of The Black Woman Lawyer Who Took Down America’s Most Powerful Mobster.

We hope you enjoy the monthly Buzz Books—keep an eye out for November Buzz Books available in early October. Also, remember that our twice-a-year Buzz Books includes new books from big authors and breakout talents through exclusive and substantial pre-publication excerpts. Read more than 60 excerpts from the hottest books being published this season in Buzz Books 2018: Fall/Winter and Buzz Books 2018: Young Adult Fall/Winter. Plus Buzz Books 2018: Romance is now available.
