A Thousand Ships, by Natalie Haynes (Mantle)
The Mirror and the Light, by Hilary Mantel (Holt/Fourth Estate)

Weather, by Jenny Offill (Knopf/Granta)

Yes, But
Munich’s big Oktoberfest has been cancelled for this year. In response, the Frankfurt Book Fair issued another update on their status in a statement from director Juergen Boos. They still “expect” some form of the Fair “to take place from October 14 to 18. What Frankfurt’s 72nd book fair will look like exactly, we cannot yet say. What is already clear, however, is that it will be a very special event.” Or not. For now, “It will probably be possible to provide a clearer picture as of mid-June.”
