Audio
Audible has launched a new lower-priced subscription plan: For $7.95 a month, Audible Plus actually offers less. They provide “unlimited” access to what is actually a limited catalog of approximately 11,000 titles. The regular Audible subscription thus becomes Audible Premium Plus (extra deluxe supreme), still providing one credit a month for any title, plus use of the Plus catalog.

Initiatives
Harlequin is partnering with Seton Hill University (Greensburg, PA) and the Humber School for Writers (Toronto) to launch a scholarship program “aimed at fostering diverse voices and talent.” The program will award $2000 of financial support to student writers “that want to share their diverse and own voices stories with readers.” The publisher is looking to add two more scholarships at U.S. colleges.
