ESPN media network Andscape is launching a book imprint with Disney Publishing Worldwide called Andscape Books. The imprint will publish 30 books a year, covering “narrative non-fiction and memoir genres, in addition to a line of young adult and children’s titles.” The first list will contain eight titles, launching with NFL journalist Jason Reid’s Rise of the Black Quarterback, a history of Black NFL players planned for August 2. Disney Publishing editorial director Jennifer Levesque will lead the imprint, with Kelli Martin, Disney Publishing executive editor, also acquiring and editing. Both will work with Andscape editor in chief Raina Kelley.
