Hachette Book Group expanded their distribution agreement with Nosy Crow. HBG has handled sales and distribution in the US and Canada for Nosy Crow since 2023.

Hachette Book Group is expanding their distribution services to provide an option for smaller independent publishers, working in partnership with the Stable Book Group to launch Stable Distribution. The company will launch in North America in spring 2026 and operate out of Hachette’s Indiana warehouse. Baker & Taylor Publisher Services will distribute: CamCat Books in the US and Canada starting July 1; Taffy Tales Press in the US; and Chicken Scratch Books in the US and Canada starting July 1.

Simon & Schuster will sell and distribute White Star in the US and Canada beginning August 1.

Penguin Random House will stop distributing to direct-market comic book stores though Diamond Comic Distributors, Bleeding Cool reports. In a letter to retailers, PRH writes, “Going forward, all Penguin Random House sales into the US Direct Market will be handled by our in-house sales team.” Any titles with an on-sale date after June 25 will be handled by PRH. Marvel, Dark Horse, and IDW titles had previously been sub-distributed by Diamond. The move follows Diamond’s rollercoaster Chapter 11 bankruptcy process.
