Hachette UK has become a shareholder of Flame Tree Publishing, an independent publisher of books, gifts, and art calendars, as of October 31. Hachette UK previously became the company’s distributor. Red Wheel/Weiser will now distribute Crossed Crow Books, Moon Dust Press, and Womancraft Publishing. They will also acquire Quest Books, the imprint of Theosophical Publishing House in January 2024. “Red Wheel/Weiser has been a trusted distribution partner for many years. Simon & Schuster will sell and distribute She Writes Press and SparkPress, imprints of SparkPoint Studio, starting August 1, 2024.

Ingram Academic and Professional will distribute, sell, and market Walter De Gruyter in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. De Gruyter will use Ingram’s distribution and printing services, sales force, and digital services beginning in January 2024.

Beginning with their January 2025 titles, Yale University Press and Harvard University Press will be distributed by Norton. Norton will begin handling sales and distribution in fall 2024 to wholesale, retail, library, and specialty accounts, as well as special sales venues. Press Release

Beginning February 1, the Editorial Nivel Uno and Casa Creación imprints of Spanish-language Christian publisher Grupo Nivel Uno will be exclusively sold and distributed by Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial. Beginning January 3, Neem Tree Press, Portage & Main Press, and Willsow will be sold and distributed by Consortium.
