Macmillan

Tim Greco has been named executive vice president, sales, effective February 5. He will take over from president, sales & marketing Jennifer Gonzalez, who will depart on February 2.

“I’m thrilled that Tim will be taking on this new role,” Macmillan ceo Jon Yaged said. “Tim is a quintessential book person, an innovative and entrepreneurial sales strategist, and overall great person. His strong track record of building relationships, growing the next generation of sales leaders, and delivering impressive results makes him the perfect match to lead our phenomenal sales team. I also want to thank Jenn Gonzalez for her service to Macmillan for the past 12 years. It’s a testament to her leadership that we have a stellar group of sales talent that enables us to promote from within.”

Additionally, the organization will permanently close its office in White Plains, NY in February. Employees have been working virtually since the pandemic began, and will continue to be permanently remote; workers are unaffected by the closure.

“ABA’s remote work these past few years has allowed the organization to better serve its members who are located across the country — ABA staff now work from 10 different states — and enabled ABA to hire the best people for each open position, regardless of where they live,” ABA stated in a release. “This hiring flexibility has also helped make ABA a significantly more diverse organization.
