Sourcebooks   

Carolyn Telesca has joined in the newly created role of vice president of Bespoke Publishing Operations. She was at Macmillan, as production & manufacturing lead for Fablelistik, their line of finely crafted, limited edition books.

According to the publisher, “The Bespoke program focuses on customized designs and workflows tailored to entrepreneurial authors.” They tell PL, “The Bespoke program was inspired by the author-centric workflow needs many of our Bloom authors were experiencing. They wanted to give their readers beautiful books without sacrificing speed-to-market or quality.” The program is not limited to Bloom, and could “touch any imprint, depending on author or reader needs.” and will create “new pathways for authors to connect with readers through beautifully crafted books.”

Also joining the team is company veteran Heather Hall, who has been promoted to manager of editorial production for Bespoke publishing operations.

Grand Central   

John Morgan has joined as executive editor, focusing on SFF and horror and adjacent fiction categories. He was most recently executive editor at Marvel Press, a division of Disney Publishing.

Hachette Book Group   

Senior director of marketing Saimah Haque and director of metadata strategy and consumer insights Laurel Stokes‘s roles were eliminated as part of a reorganization in corporate marketing.

Doubleday   

Carolyn Williams has been promoted senior editor.

Norton   

Caroline Adams has been promoted to associate editor in the trade department.

Haley Bracken has been promoted to associate editor at Liveright.

Grove Atlantic   

Jisu Kim has joined as sales and operations executive. Kim previously worked as senior manager of marketing, sales, and publicity at The Feminist Press.

Holt   

Anna Montague has joined as a senior editor. She was previously editor at Dey Street Books.

Running Press   

Kate Ellsworth has joined as editor.

Penguin Life and The Open Field   

Nina Rodríguez-Marty has been pr0moted to executive editor.

Isabelle Alexander has been promoted to assistant editor.

Knopf   

Sara Eagle has been promoted to director of marketing for Knopf and Knopf Cooks.

Crown   

Natalie Muglia has been promoted to associate, sales marketing.

 

Random House Publishing Group   

Alisse Goldsmith-Wissman has been promoted to publicity manager.

Jordan Pace has been promoted to publicity manager.

Marni Folkman has been promoted to associate publicist.

Hope Hathcock has been promoted to associate publicist.

Brianna Kusilek has been promoted to publicist.

Princeton University Press   
Erik Beranek has been promoted to associate editor, paperbacks.
Jaden Young has been promoted to production editor.
Running Wild   

Reuben “Tihi” Hayslett has joined the leadership team. Hayslett is a writer, activist, and storyteller. His appointment follows the departure of Rize acquisitions editor Cody Sisco.

Sterling Lord Literistic   

Amanda Price has been promoted to foreign rights associate.
