Noah Perkins is looking for volunteers interested in joing an organizing committee to create a Young Publishers Association, for the purposes of networking and assisting other young publishing professionals as they are starting out in their careers.
Paradigm Publishing Services   

De Gruyter is launching Paradigm Publishing Services, a new division addressing the needs of “publishers in the humanities and social sciences as well as in scientific associations, societies, and library publishing programs.” De Gruyter president Steve Fallon will lead the division, which will be based in Boston.

Carsten Buhr, managing director at De Gruyter, said in a release: “Through Paradigm, De Gruyter will offer adaptable and personalized solutions to publishers seeking publishing services, hosting, and commercial distribution. As a reputable publisher and experienced service provider, we possess the expertise and global network to effectively meet scholarly publishing demands on a large scale. I am excited to consolidate and expand our publishing services expertise and talent under the new Paradigm Publishing Services brand.”
