The division announced the following reorganizations:
Marketing
They will consolidate the integrated marketing and marketing design teams, as Kelly Rudolph takes the expanded role of vp of publicity and integrated marketing strategy, Morrow Group and HarperCollins Children’s. Colleen O’Connell and Marisa Domenech will both now report to Rudolph.
Art Jean McGinley, vp, associate publisher for children’s, will now oversee the Children’s art department. Amy Ryan, vp, creative director, will now report to McGinley.
Rights
The rights team will also be consolidated. Juliette Shapland, svp, rights and permissions, will now oversee the entire rights and permissions group. Rachel Horowitz and Reka Rubin will now report to Shapland.
Sales
Ann Dye has been appointed to executive director of sales operations & trade shows, overseeing the sales operations team for general books, children’s, Harlequin, and international sales. In addition, the school, library, and academic marketing teams, will now report to Dye. Patty Rosati, senior director, school & library marketing, will lead the combined library and school marketing teams reporting to Dye. Virginia Stanley will now report to Rosati. Diane Burrowes will also report to Dye.
High Line Literary
Victoria Mariniand Kimberly Perel formally celebrated the launch of the literary agency High Line Literary Collective, formed in July as part of the transition of senior agents who had worked at the Irene Goodman Literary Agency. Also joining are Whitney Ross, Pam Gruber, Amanda Bernardi, Margaret Danko, and Sheyla Knigge.
Chronicle Books
Alex Astras has joined as associate manager, institutional and independent trade marketing.
Bora Kim has been promoted to associate sales manager, national specialty.
