Sarah Perillo has joined Publishers Marketplace as data and operations manager. She was previously director of foreign rights at Curtis Brown.

Chief financial officer James Johnston will retire after more than 33 years with the company. As of January 1, Manuel Sansigre is promoted to CFO, reporting to Nihar Malaviya, and continuing lead global mergers and acquisitions as well.

Additionally, Divya Sawhney is promoted to Chief Strategy Officer, continuing to report to Malaviya.

Stephanie Hitchcock has been appointed executive editor to launch a business books imprint. She moves over from Atria Books where she was senior editor.

Sarah Schoof has been promoted to publicity manager.

Alison Cerri has been promoted to publicist.

Ashley Candelario has been promoted to associate publicist.

Brittany Schachner has been promoted to manager, frontlist planning.

The company has been appointed US & UK scouts for Le Seuil and Points, starting December 1.
