Russell Evans has been named director of business development for Hachette UK Distribution and Hachette Book Group US Distribution.

James Linney becomes cfo of distribution for Hachette UK and Hachette Book Group.

Ingram Content Group   

SVP of content acquisition international David Taylor will retire in June 2025 after 22 years with the company. Ingram ceo Shawn Morin said, “Ingram’s growth and respected industry position we enjoy today in the UK, and globally, would not have been possible without David’s thoughtful, patient, and effective leadership.”

Holtzbrinck Buchverlage   

Interim ceo of the company’s trade publishing division in Germany Carel Halff will step down at the end of 2024.

Longtime commercial managing director at Kiepenheuer & Witsch Claudia Häußermann will take over as ceo.

Johns Hopkins University Press   

Wendy Queen will take the new role of chief transformation officer, once her current position of director of Project MUSE at Hopkins Press has been filled. In the new position, Queen will lead innovation strategy and transformation efforts, “working closely with stakeholders across the scholarly communications landscape to ensure that, in alignment with the Hopkins Press vision, knowledge enriches the life of every person.”

 

Simon & Schuster   

Michael Andersen has joined the corporate marketing team as senior director of audience insights. He was previously director of cultural intelligence at Simon Element.

Imani Seymour has been promoted to senior manager, multicultural marketing and social media.

Niamh Hoban has joined as videographer/video editor.

Ballantine Bantam Dell   

Taylor Noel has been promoted to director of marketing.
