Salma Begum has joined as literary agent. She was formerly editor at Bonnier Books UK.

Yelena Gitlin Nesbit has joined as executive director, publicity & marketing, starting on January 2. Reporting to Celeste Fine, Nesbit will work with authors and their publishers to reinforce their book publicity and marketing strategies. Nesbit was previously executive director, publicity at Harper Collins.

Danielle Barthel has joined as manager, creative development, starting on January 16. Barthel will work with Pete Knapp on client strategy and coordination in young adult and adult fiction.

Jay Franco will join as director of sales in publishing, starting in January. Most recently, he was director of premium & diversified sales at PRH.
