One of our correx on Friday regarding The Best Lists was still wrong, due to Holiday Brain, so here we go again. The Riverhead title we intended to correct was A Marriage at Sea, by Sophie Elmhirst, which is the book that deputy publisher Jynne Dilling Martin acquired. She was alerted to the title by a friend after traditional US editors had passed on the submission.
It was published in the UK under the title Maurice And Maralyn, where it won the Nero Award for nonfiction in January (and we tipped the galley in our new monthly column The Edit in March).
