Electric Literature   

Executive director Halimah Marcus is stepping down in June. She plans to pursue teaching and editing, in addition to publishing her first novel. Marcus writes, “It’s difficult to leave an organization that I love, but the decision was easier knowing that I’m leaving Electric Lit in capable hands…I am proud of what we have accomplished together so far, and I have full faith in their ability to take Electric Lit to the next level. ”

Denne Michele Norris will be promoted to the reconfigured role of executive director and publisher.

Wynter K. Miller will become director of operations and fiction editor.

Katie Henken Robinson will become deputy editor.

Crooked Lane   

Katie McGuire has been promoted to senior editor.

Thaisheemarie Fantauzzi Pérez has been promoted to assistant editor and production coordinator.

Penguin Random House   

Sophia Opitz joins as assistant editor, corporate bookmaking, supporting the Square Enix Manga & Books team and reporting to Gary Thompson. She was previously at Cross Infinite World and a manga book buyer at independent bookstores.
