Arielle Pearl has been promoted to senior designer.

Megan Westbrook has been promoted to project manager.

Simon & Schuster   

Ali Cutrone is joining as vice president, digital and online sales, as of March 12. Cutrone was formerly executive director of online sales at Hachette Book Group.

Abrams ComicArts   

Anita Okoye has joined as editor. Most recently she was an assistant editor at Marvel Comics.

Crooked Lane Books   

Dan Mayer has joined as senior editor-at-large. He was previously editorial director at Seventh Street Books.

Bloomsbury Continuum   

Longtime editorial director Robin Baird-Smith will leave after 24 years with the company at the end of February. Publisher Tomasz Hoskins will succeed him.

Bloomsbury ceo Nigel Newton calls Baird-Smith “one of the great publishers of his generation. His list of authors positively scintillates with stardust. Gardner Literary   

Candice Marie Benbow has joined as agent, with a focus on nonfiction. She is a writer who has previously written for Essence, Glamour, Religion News Service, Vice, and more.
