Chrissy Heleine will be joining on February 26 in the newly created role of svp, deputy group sales director, reporting to Lauren Monaco, evp group sales director. She was most recently at Penguin Random House, where she spent over a decade, most recently as vp sales.

Simon & Schuster   

Nicholas Hayne has been named international sales director, managing the US and UK-based international and export sales teams.

Vice president, executive director, global and international sales Colin Shields is leaving the company. His last day is February 16.

Caolinn Douglas is promoted to editor.

Maya Raiford Cohen and TJ Ohler are promoted to assistant editor.

Amelia Olsen is promoted to marketing manager.

Morrow Group   

Jessica Cozzi has been promoted to publicist.

Scholastic   

Sophia La Torre has joined as junior designer. La Torre was previously design assistant at Penguin Random House.

DK India   

Managing director Aparna Sharma is retiring after 25 years of leading he company. She will be succeeded by Nandan Jha on July 1, who will be leaving his role as executive vice president, sales & product and business development at Penguin Random House India.

Aevitas Creative Management   

Andy McNicol joins as an agent. She previously ran her own agency, AMStudio, prior to which she was a partner at WME.

Association of American Publishers   

Chair of Elsevier and director of corporate affairs at the RELX Group Youngsuk “YS” Chi is elected board chair.

HarperCollins CEO Brian Murray is elected vice chair.
