Valerie Van Delft, svp of logistics, will retire this August. EVP Annette Danek writes, “To truly consider the depth and scope of Valerie’s PRH’s Operations reach and responsibility, is overwhelming, even for me. Yet, no one handles it better than she, because at heart, she is a born problem solver, one who understands the big picture and small details of our business, using them to create a strategy and to deploy tactics to ease difficulties.”

Tracey Presley is promoted, effective immediately, to svp of global transportation and logistics reporting to Danek.

Alison Martin is named svp of customer solutions, analytics, projects, and strategy, effective April 1, and Jeanie Wood will report to her.

Chronicle Books   

Emily Daluga has joined as editor, children’s.

Lizzie Vaughan has been promoted to art director.  

Alexandria Martinez has been promoted to senior graphic and production designer.

Juliette Capra has been promoted to assistant editor.

Berkley   

Sareer Khader has been promoted to editor.

Random House Children's   

Tiffany Liao has joined as executive editor. She was most recently an executive editor at Zando Young Readers.

Cat Reynolds has been promoted to senior editor on the Dr. Seuss Publishing team.

Penguin Children's   

Jenna Smith has been promoted to publicist.

Scholastic   

Alix Guerrier and Kaya Henderson have been appointed to the board. Guerrier is the CEO of DonorsChoose. Henderson is CEO of Reconstruction US.

WME   

Eve Attermann has been promoted to partner in the books department.
