Samantha Zukergood will join on April 29 as an editor, reporting to VP, editor in chief Whitney Frick — working on the “well-being” portion of the list, acquiring and editing books by experts and thought leaders in wellness spaces. She has been at Flatiron’s Moment of Lift imprint.

Ravi Mirchandani will become publisher of a new UK branch of Summit Books on September 2, reporting to managing director Suzanne Baboneau. He is currently editor-in-chief at Picador, leaving the company on June 7.

Tessa James has been promoted to editor.

Mo Crist will join as an editor on the adult trade team, beginning May 7. Crist was previously at Norton.

Melissa Wu is joining the children’s finance team as a sr. financial analyst. She was previously at Macmillan Learning.

Maria Snelling has been promoted to associate marketing manager.
