Chronicle Books has shuttered Chronicle Chroma, its pop culture and visual arts imprint. A spokesperson for the company tells PL, “As of last month, we are no longer acquiring titles under the Chroma imprint; titles currently under contract will still be proudly published by Chronicle Books.” The company has not yet responded to queries about whether employees have been laid off or moved to other imprints.
