Jeremy M. Davies has been promoted to editor-in-chief.

Linda Ewing becomes executive director, with a focus on management of the press’s day-to-day operations and fundraising. She had been interim executive director since 2023.

The publisher writes in a release, “Davies and Ewing will together share the responsibilities of the traditional role of ‘Publisher,’ with Davies leading the press’s editorial vision and literary sensibility and Ewing focusing on sustainability and executive leadership.”

Maria Modugno, vice president, executive director of Random House Studio, will retire on June 4. She has been with RHCB for 12 years, and before that, she was vp, editorial director at Harper Collins.

Matt Maguda has joined as marketing & publicity associate. He was previously a marketing assistant at Oxford University Press.

The company has taken on Muza in Poland as a client for the UK, US and international markets.
