The agency writes, “In her 18 years with ABLA, Jennifer represented an incredible list of authors and illustrators, and over the past 2 years when she served as ABLA’s Contracts Director, she led agency negotiations with integrity and diplomacy. We cheer her on in her next adventure and are so grateful for what she brought to our team.”

Liz Anderson has been promoted to director of marketing, adult trade.

Britt Mitchell has been promoted to director, children’s marketing & publicity.

Caitlin Ek has been promoted to senior publicist, children’s.

Harper Collins   

Samantha Lubash has been promoted to senior marketing manager.

Harlequin   

Jess Verdi has joined as senior editor for Afterglow and Carina by Harlequin. She was previously at Alcove Press/Crooked Lane Books.

Enchantress Marketing   

Ashleigh Heaton has launched Enchantress Marketing, a full-service book marketing agency specializing in genre fiction and open to traditional, indie, and hybrid authors. The agency will offer “a spectrum of customizable services, such as author brand development and management, individual title advertising and launch promotions, social media and newsletter strategy, convention planning assistance, website design, backlist support, and publishing consultations.” Heaton was most recently a director of marketing at Penguin Random House, where she spent ten years working across the Del Rey, Random House Worlds, and Inklore imprints.
