Penguin Random House   

SVP, children’s sales and strategic market development Amanda Close will leave the company at the end of June, to spend more time with her family and to devote more energy to her own creative projects. She joined Bertelsmann in 2001 and moved to Random House in 2003, holding several leadership positions in sales, operations, digital development, and corporate marketing.

 

Doubleday   

Khari Dawkins has been promoted to associate editor.

Maya Pasic has been promoted to assistant editor.

Abrams   

Kyle Daileda has joined as senior publicist, Abrams ComicArts.

Lydia Nguyen has been promoted to assistant editor, Abrams ComicArts.

Brian Pierson has joined as controller.

Zando   

Julia McGarry has joined Zando as publicist. She was previously associate publicist at Gallery Books/Simon & Schuster.

Regal Hoffmann & Associates   

Priscilla Posada has joined as an agent. She is a literary translator from the Spanish and an MFA candidate in writing and literature at Bennington College.
