Abrams   

Abrams is restructuring of its marketing department. Melanie Chang, svp of marketing,
publicity, and corporate communications, will lead the reorganization, which will create dedicated adult and children’s marketing teams.

On the adult side, Cristina Gilbert joins as executive director, marketing, adult. She was most recently at Macmillan.

Jenna Lisanti returns to the company as associate director, marketing, adult, after working most recently on the company’s adult campaigns in a freelance capacity.

On the children’s side, Borana Greku has been promoted to director, marketing, children’s.

Kasia Abrams joins as executive director, content & consumer engagement on June 23. She was most recently at Open Road.

Boom! Studios   

Sara Miller has joined as editorial director. She was previously at DC comics.

Kiara Valdez has joined as special projects editor. She was previously at First Second.

Tea Fougner will join to co-lead the Boom! Studio imprint. Fougner has spent 16 years in the editorial department of King Features Syndicate.

Kwanza Osajyefo joins to lead graphic literature imprint Archaia. He was previously at PR agency M Booth.

Sebastian Girner joins to co-lead the Boom! Studios imprint. He was previously editor-in-chief at TKO Studios.

Neighborhood Literary   

GiannaMarie Dobson joins as associate agent.

Bloodhound Books   

Co-founders Betsy Reavley and Fred Freeman will step down from their day-to-day roles on August 29, to launch a new publishing technology venture to be announced soon. They will continue to serve as consultants.

On August 30, Hannah Baxter-Deuce will become publisher, supported by Tara Lyons, who will have expanded responsibilities as head of Operations. Baxter-Deuce will report to Open Road publisher Chris Gillespie.
