Becky Green has been promoted to senior vice president, retail, and Penguin Young Readers sales. She will maintain her current oversight of national accounts and retail sales, in addition to her new Penguin Young Readers sales-leader responsibilities.

Mark Santella is promoted to senior vice president, mass merchandise, and Random House Children’s sales. He will lead the RHCB sales effort along with his current mass merchandise channel responsibilities for all the company’s children’s publishers.

S&B Literary Agency will represent both adult and children’s/YA titles from Writer’s House in Scandinavia starting September 1.

Ia Atterholm Agency, which previously handled Writer’s House titles in Scandinavia, will stop handling new projects and renewals on August 30, but will continue with any existing contract throughout their term.

Gary Urda

Visitation for the late Gary Urda will be on Friday, June 28 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Brueggemann Funeral Home, 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport, NY.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 20 Cheshire Place, East Northport, NY.

All who knew and worked with Gary are welcome to attend.
