Harper Collins Nordic   

Managing director Anette Ekström will retire. She joined the company in 2001.

“It has been an incredible journey, and I am deeply grateful for the support of my colleagues and the publishing community over the years,” Ekström said in a release. “As I step into retirement, I am excited to see how Harper Collins Nordic will continue to evolve and thrive under new leadership.”

“Anette has been an important part of building our international publishing program, and we wish her all the best on her next chapter,” said Chantal Restivo-Alessi, Harper Collins ceo of international foreign language.

Rebecka Leffler will take over as managing director on September 3. She was previously publishing director at Bonnier.

“Rebecka’s impressive track record and innovative mindset make her the perfect fit to lead Harper Collins Nordic into the future,” Restivo-Alessi said. “We are confident that her unique blend of publishing experience will drive our continued growth and success in the Nordic markets.”

“I am honored to join HarperCollins Nordic and to build upon the strong foundation that Anette has established,” Leffler said. “I look forward to collaborating with the talented team and exploring new opportunities to connect readers with exceptional stories.

Basic Books   

Kathleen Reed has joined as managing editor. Most recently she was at Hay House.

Berkley   

Kim-Salina I has been promoted to associate marketing manager at Berkley.

Trellis Literary Management   

Alyssa Morris has joined as literary agent, focusing on romance, romantasy and self-published authors. Morris is the creator of the popular BookTok Substack Romancing the Phone.

Nicole Cunningham will join as a literary agent on June 16. She was previously an agent at The Book Group.
