Lauren Wein has been promoted to editor-in-chief.

Allie Merola has joined as senior editor, reporting to David Ebershoff. Merola was previously at Viking Penguin.

 

Harlequin   

Leyla Erkan has joined as editor. Erkan was previously at Little, Brown Children’s.

Bloomsbury   

Lauren Wilson is being promoted to publicist.

Maria DeKoning is being promoted to associate publicist.

Sourcebooks   

Alessandra Roche has joined as editor at Sourcebooks, Bloom Books and Cosmo Reads. She was at Avon.

Vanja Mackic has joined as buyer I.

Jane Duzansky has joined as human resources generalist.

Barbie Altorfer has joined as senior project manager, calendar & general merchandising.

Jamie Tan has joined as senior marketing & publicity manager.
Amy Hoidas has been promoted to royalties specialist.
Antsu Literary Agency   

Wadzanai Mhute has launched Antsu Literary Agency, and is seeking fiction and nonfiction clients. Mhute was previously books editor at Oprah Daily and Oprah’s Book Club and also fiction editor at The Sunday Long Read.

Andrew Nurnberg Associates   

Managing director Jenny Savill will move into a new role as an agency director and primary agent, focusing on her clients.

Director of the UK agenting team Michael Dean becomes managing director as of July 1 and Sabine Pfannenstiel is promoted to deputy managing director.

“For my part, it is a great privilege to now lead this storied Agency, with our many author, agency and publisher clients, whose interests we continue to champion worldwide with the relentless pursuit of excellence Andrew made his hallmark,” Dean said in the announcement. “I am tremendously fortunate to count on Sabine – one of the finest and most widely respected agents in international publishing – as Deputy MD, and we are excited to take the Agency forward together with Doug [Wallace] and the senior leadership team.”

 

Edmison/Harper Literary Scouting   

The company has been appointed North American scout for Pan Macmillan and its adult imprints.

Diversion Publishing   

The publisher’s UK and translation rights will be represented by Linda Kaplan at Kaplan DeFiore Rights. Rights for WLA Books will continue to be handled by Ashley Lopez.
