Page Edmunds will join as president in August, reporting to ceo Paul Kelly and based in New York. Edmunds is currently vp, associate publisher at Harper Collins Children’s.

“DK US is a formidable business with exciting opportunities ahead, and Page is exactly the kind of leader we were looking for,” Kelly said in a release. “What particularly impressed me is her ability to connect publishing, brands, audiences and commercial growth into a coherent vision for the future. As publishing continues to evolve, I believe that combination of skills and perspective will be a significant advantage for DK. She combines strategic thinking with a strong bias for action and, throughout the process, demonstrated curiosity, humility and a genuine belief in the power of collaborative leadership.”

“I’m honored to join DK, and excited to build on the company’s strong foundations alongside its talented publishing team, authors, and bookselling partners,” Edmunds said. “Together we’ll continue to invest in high quality, creative publishing, and find innovative ways to connect readers with books that spark their curiosity and enrich their lives. I look forward to building closer connections across DK’s global publishing teams; maintaining a focus on editorial excellence, curiosity and collaboration in all our publishing; and growing the business while staying true to the mission and values that have made DK so successful.”
