Level Best Books   

Mystery, thriller, and crime publisher Level Best Books is launching a UK arm, Level Best Books UK, “a wholly owned subsidiary based in London that will serve as the publisher’s official presence in the United Kingdom and represent the company’s interests throughout Great Britain.”

Shawn Reilly Simmons, publisher and ceo of Level Best Books, and mystery author Martin Edwards, who will serve as co-directors. “The United Kingdom has long been at the heart of mystery fiction,” said Simmons in a release. “British authors helped define the genre, and today the UK remains one of the most vibrant mystery communities in the world. Establishing Level Best Books UK gives our authors more than international distribution—it gives them an authentic presence within that community.”
