Jessica Kasmer-Jacobs has launched Blueprint Literary, based in Tel Aviv, to represent Jewish, Israeli, Arab-Israeli, and Palestinian authors, with an emphasis on international and media rights sales. The agency represents literary and commercial fiction and narrative nonfiction.

Kasmer-Jacobs has been an agent for eight years and was previously an editor at the Wall Street Journal Book Review.

Emily Barrett will become agency director, succeeding Rory Scarfe, who will leave the agency “to set up a new venture,” the Bookseller reports.

Workers at the Massapequa, NY store won their union election to join RWDSU Local 1102, with 85 percent voting to unionize.
