Kelly Barrales-Saylor joined as executive editor on July 29. She was editorial director at Sourcebooks eXplore.
Publisher Aaron Wehner writes; “With an eye to the scaling of the program and ensuring workflows between the broader children’s and adult teams are aligned and optimized, we will be integrating the growing children’s editorial team into Ten Speed’s main editorial department,” led by vp & editor in chief Molly Birnbaum.
Children’s editorial director Ginee Seo continues to report to Wehner, while Barrales-Saylor reports to Birnbaum. “We are looking forward to announcing further additions to the children’s team in other areas of the business in the coming months.”

Tom Messina has joined in the newly created role of audio post-production supervisor. Messina worked most recently as a post-production manager at John Marshall Media.
Oriel Voegele has joined as publicity and marketing coordinator. She was previously publicity assistant at Basic Books.
