Bonnier Books UK

The publisher will close nonfiction and translation imprint Ithaka Press, the Bookseller reports, with the continued publication of forthcoming titles decided on a case-by-case basis. Publishing director and founder Sarah Braybrooke left the company in July, and editors Ellie Carr and Leonie Lock will leave at the end of November.

In addition, the Footnote Press imprint will only publish fiction going forward.

“The decision comes as a result of Bonnier Books UK’s move to focus on genres in which it is better established and can publish most successfully amid challenging market conditions within the wider non-fiction landscape,” Bonnier said in a statement to the Bookseller.

Ten Speed Press

Zoey Brandt has been promoted to associate editor.
