The Association of American Literary Agents re-elected Regina Brooks at Serendipity Literary Agency to a second term as president.

Tess Callero at Europa Content and Jemiscoe Chambers-Black at Starling Literary + Media were elected co–vice presidents and Eva Scalzo at Speilburg Literary Agency is secretary.

Liz Carrasco joins as Chief Technology Officer. She was most recently director of architecture at Rotary International.

The Book Industry Study Group named Skip Dye, senior vice president at Penguin Random House, the 2026 recipient of the Sally Dedecker Award for
Lifetime Service.

Maddie Crum, Michele Moses, and Mallika Rao have joined as editorial consultants with Hagfish Studio. Crum also co-edits Joyland Editions, Moses is an assistant editor at The Yale Review, and Rao is a member of the editorial staff at The New Yorker.
