Kristin Fassler will move over from the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group on October 7 as svp, director of marketing strategy and engagement, reporting to Sanyu Dillon.

Penguin Random House   

Phillip Stamper-Halpin is promoted to director, author development.

Jacky Bethea is promoted to associate manager, author development.

Macmillan Children's   

Preeti Chhibber has joined as digital marketing manager. Previously, she was a freelance writer and editor.

Princeton University Press   

Tony Lutkus joins in the new role of chief of North American sales. He was previously president at Diamond Book Distributors.

East/West Literary Agency   

Author and illustrator Jim Averbeck has joined as literary agent. His first client is NYT-bestselling author of CRANK Ellen Hopkins.

Ana Crespo has been promoted to agent.

Sebes & Bisseling   

Rik Kleuver is promoted to managing director on October 1.

Persephone Abbott will join as part of the administration department on October 1.

Azantian Literary Agency   

Mark O’Brien has joined as an associate agent. He was previously sales coordinator at NetGalley.

KF Literary Scouting   

Regan Devlin has joined as senior scout. She was previously at Baker Literary Scouting.
