Harper Collins   

Marleen Reimer has returned to the company as director, subsidiary rights, representing rights for the William Morrow, Harper Voyager, Dey Street, Mariner, and Harvest lists. She was most recently associate director, subsidiary rights at Sourcebooks.

Hachette Book Group   

John Cassidy is joining the online sales team on September 23 as senior national account manager, responsible for selling client publishers to Amazon. He joins from Penguin Random House, where he has spent 20 years working with Amazon as a national account manager.

Workman-Running Press   

Workman vp, marketing & publicity Rebecca Carlisle and director of publicity Chloe Puton have both left the company.

For Workman, Artisan, Workman Calendars, and Black Dog & Leventhal, Moira Kerrigan is promoted to executive director, marketing & publicity and Ilana Gold is promoted to director of publicity & marketing. Alana Bonfiglio has been promoted to senior marketing & publicity associate.

Jules Kelly joins Workman Kids as associate publisher on September 30. Previously, Kelly was assistant marketing director at Random House Children’s.

Penguin Random House   

Rosalie Stewart will join as senior manager, public policy on September 23, reporting to chair of the PRH Intellectual Freedom Taskforce Skip Dye and based in Washington, DC. Stewart was previously manager of grassroots communications for the American Library Association’s public policy and advocacy office.

Simon & Schuster Children's   

Nadia Almahdi has been promoted to director, digital marketing for Simon Kids.

Shannon Pender has joined as assistant director, digital marketing, for Simon Teen. She was most recently at Random House Children’s.

James Akinaka has joined as senior marketing manager, digital marketing, for Simon Kids and Simon Teen. He was most recently at Penguin Children’s.

Knopf Canada   

Ashley Dunn has been promoted to associate publisher.

Aevitas Creative Management   

Lauren Liebow has been promoted to agent.

Advocate Art   

Illustration agency Advocate Art has opened a new office in Frankfurt, Germany. The company represents illustrators for children’s books, greeting cards, advertising, and commercial art. Manager Marion Von Elling said,”Germany is an important market for illustration and we have been thrilled to grow our business here rapidly over the last few years.”
