Firm Denies Representation On Borders Payments

In her ten years with the company, Hultenschmidt has directed the publicity and promotions department, has built and overseen the company’s website and has edited the romance and western genres. Kitty Kelley Oprah Bio Set for April 13
Crown will release Kitty Kelley’s 544-page OPRAH: A Biography in a promised “first printing in excess of a half-million copies.” The North American laydown will include a simultaneous ebook edition, along with an audio release. Crown says Kelley had 850 interviews with sources for the book, “many of whom have never before spoken for publication about Winfrey.”
Amazon Launches "Active Content" App Program
In the second big pre-tablet announcement this week from Amazon, the company has announced plans to allow the creation of the Kindle version apps, which they are calling “active content,” later this year. For now they are just inviting interested parties to register for a limited beta of the Kindle Developer Kit, which will be available for download sometime next month.
