As of April 1, all trade titles acquired by Palgrave Macmillan will be published by St. Martin’s Press. President and publisher Sally Richardson said in a statement: “We are excited about adding Palgrave Macmillan trade, with its pool of talented editorial, marketing and production people, and its history of excellent publishing, to our broad list. We will work to integrate them fully into SMP.”

Heritage House is partnering with Vivalogue to launch a new children’s/YA imprint, Wandering Fox Books in fall 2014, overseen by Heritage House senior editor Lara Kordic. The first four titles, all Canadian stories geared towards 10-15 year olds, are repackaged, updated editions of best-selling, previously published titles that have been out of print. Wandering Fox marks the first move into trade publishing for Vivalogue.

Rock Point Press in Santa Fe, NM will release its launch list in fall 2014. The press, co-owned by Joanna Hill and Marcy Heller, will publish creative nonfiction and historically-based children’s books in the areas of Southwest history, spirituality, memoirs, and cookbooks.
