Up Next: Comprehensive Marketing, and Publishing Services

June 3, 2013By Michael Cader

With the long stretch of BEA events now over, Publishers Launch Conferences is pairing with Digital Book World on a new event to put on your calendars for September:

The Marketing + Publishing Services Conference & Expo

This “mini-convention” is actually multiple shows under one roof, targeting at a variety of key publishing functions.

The full-day Marketing Conference builds on DBW’s marketing show from 2012 with additional programming expertise Publishers Launch and will be the first event for book marketers that presents a comprehensive strategy for marketing in a digital world.

Meanwhile, on the second floor of our space to Manhattan’s Metropolitan Pavilion, we will run three separate two-and-a-half-hour “mini-shows” specifically on:

– Editorial/production
– Digital asset managmenet/distribution
– Rights and royalties

These targeted shows combine programming that highlights how peers how used new solutions to improve their processes with a round of “speed-dating” with a variety of selected vendors to help you understand and efficiently evaluate some of the leading service options in your field. These shows build on our successful eBooks for Everyone Else shows and last summer’s groundbreaking Publishers Launch show on cloud-based publishing services.

The Publishing Services ticket is super-affordable — discounted right now to just $79, so all the right people in the affected departments can attend — and the full-day Marketing Conference is a great value as well, also available now at limited-supply early pricing.

We’re delighted to be working with our Digital Book World colleagues on another practical, focused event that embraces multiple segments of the publishing community.
