Ready for Discovery

September 25, 2013
By Michael Cader

We are all set for a great full-day conference tomorrow on Modern Book Marketing: Tools, Techniques and Services. As always happens with our New York shows, we’re getting a lot of late enrollments — so if you have been meaning to join us, make sure to claim your place now. More than just a collection of ideas and panels. Digital marketing strategist Peter McCarthy, along with Publishers Launch Conferences partner Mike Shatzkin and the team at Digital Book World, will present a structured curriculum of tested techniques, tools and best practices to guide successful digital book marketing and discovery. The full program also draws on the talents of a dozen top marketers and consumer engagement experts at multiple houses, literary agencies and beyond. Together they will present a comprehensive, actionable course in intelligent, focused digital book marketing — accessible to anyone in publishing (including editors, agents, authors and others), and executable at just about any marketing budget level. Really.

We also still have some spots for the 3 efficient Publishing Services mini-conferences being held at the same time (on a separate floor, sold as a very affordable ticket), exploring new solutions for Editorial/Production processes; Digital Asset Distribution and Management; and Rights and Royalties.
