Brian Perrin has been promoted to vice president, marketing for Harper Business and Harper Wave. Jaime Green will serve as romance columnist for the New York Times Book Review, writing a quarterly column, which will debut in their June Summer Reading issue. We’ve made another adjustment to our big catalog of Dealmakers — tracking about 4,400 agents; 2,000 agencies; 11,000 editors; and 9,000 imprints over time on individual web pages of their transactions. We are now cataloging audio rights buyers — both individual editors and their companies — in Dealmakers lists and individual pages. The new feature includes data from the past 12 months, and covers audio rights buyers only, not sellers.

Previously he was an agent at The Clegg Agency. Hilary Teeman has been promoted to executive editor, Crown and Hogarth. Sarah Janet has been promoted to executive director, marketing analytics at Open Road. Anne Twomey will join Celadon Books as creative director on April 2. She has been vp, creative director at Grand Central. Six American writers were nominated for the Sunday Times Short Story Award in the UK.

Tracy Behar‘s new nonfiction imprint will be named Little, Brown Spark. She says in the announcement that the name was chosen “to reflect our mission to publish books that spark ideas, feelings, and change.” As previously announced, launching in fall 2018, the line is focused on health, lifestyle, psychology, and science. Alongside senior editor Marisa Vigilante, Behar is joined by associate editor Ian Straus, and associate director of marketing Jessica Chun.
