In the UK, founder of Igloo Books John Styring and Briony Britten started a new publisher in April, Bookoli, creating books and products for children aged five and under, set to launch in the fall. Now, they are pairing with Australian publisher Hinkler in a joint venture to form a mass market publisher called Curious Universe UK. Styring says in the announcement, “With our experience in running a leading mass market publisher from here in the UK, and the creative genius and wealth of successful products from Hinkler, we believe the Curious Universe UK brand will be a very strong proposition.
