At Bonnier Books UK, Ciara Lloyd has been promoted to editorial director at John Blake Publishing. Beth Eynon becomes senior editor at Blink Publishing. Madiya Altaf moves up to to assistant editor at Blink Publshing.

Marina de Pass and Niamh O’Grady have both been promoted to associate agent at The Soho Agency.

Former longtime editor at St. Martin’s Hope Dellon, 67, died recently. There is a service on Sunday. Author Charles Finch remembers her in this thread online.

Imprints
Flatiron Books has paired with the iHeartPodcast Network for a new imprint called Stuff You Should Read: An iHeartBook. The line launches with STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW: An Incomplete Compendium of Mostly Interesting Things, by Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant, publishing in September.

Sarah Murphy at Flatiron leads the imprint, which “will publish a minimum of one book per year” and has signed four books to start, based on popular “curiosity” podcasts about Stuff. Macmillan’s Imprint will publish young reader editions.

Distribution
Hachette Book Group will distribute National Geographic Partners‘ adult and children’s books starting October 1.

Forthcoming
Former National Security Adviser Lt. General H.R. McMaster‘s BATTLEGROUNDS: The Fight to Defend the Free World will be published April 28.

Netflix co-founder and ceo Reed Hastings‘ book — NO RULES RULES, originally expected last fall, will be published by Penguin Press on May 12.

Bookselling
Freelance writer and editor Teresa Kenney is aiming for an April opening of Village Books, a 1,400-square-foot independent bookstore in The Woodlands, north of Houston, TX.
