Trump Sues PRH For Defamation Over ‘Lucky Loser’
Donald Trump is suing Penguin Random House, the New York Times, and NYT reporters and authors of Lucky Loser: How Donald Trump Squandered His Father’s Fortune and Created the Illusion of Success Russ Buettner and Susanne Craig for defamation. Two other NYT reporters, Peter Baker and Michael S. Schmidt, are also named in the suit. Disney and Webtoon Will Launch New Digital Comics Platform
Disney has partnered with Webtoon on a new digital platform and app that will make more than 35,000 comics from Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Pixar and 20th Century Studios available for a single subscription. The platform will be built and operated by Webtoon and expand on Disney’s existing digital comics service, Marvel Unlimited, with Disney+ subscribers getting access to select comics. Disney will also acquire a 2% equity interest in Webtoon Entertainment. Simon & Schuster will handle worldwide sales and distribution for Shortwave Publishing beginning December 1. IPG will distribute: Harper India starting January 1, 2026; Invader Comics as of October 1, 2025; and Mo’media and Shackleton Book in the US and Canada starting January 1, 2026.
