Marion Garner has been promoted to deputy publisher, vp of Penguin Random House Canada, continuing to report to president and publisher Kristin Cochrane. (Garner has been deputy publisher for the Random House Canada imprints). Cathy Goldsmith has been appointed to the newly created position of president and publisher of Random House’s Beginner Books line and Dr. Seuss publishing program, effective immediately, continuing to report to Mallory Loehr.
