Barnes & Noble has appointed two new independent directors to its board as the company prepares to spin off its College division as a separate publicly-traded entity. Joining the board are Ann-Marie Campbell, current president of Home Depot’s southern division; and Paul Guenther, former president of PaineWebber Group, Inc. Longtime executive director of the National Book Foundation Harold Augenbraum will leave his position at the end of March 2016.
