Announced right after Lunch mailed yesterday, Touchstone publisher Stacy Creamer will leave the company on November 15 after more than four years at the imprint. As reported Friday afternoon, longtime Amazon veteran Daphne Durham has already been assigned Larry Kirshbaum’s responsibilities as publisher for Amazon’s trade publishing lines, in advance of his departure on January 17. Durham has been editor-in-chief of Amazon’s adult publishing imprints for the past year. In the UK, Charlotte Greig is joining Open Road as a strategic advisor for acquisitions, reporting to publisher Tina Pohlman. Kirshbaum to Leave Amazon Publishing In January
Larry Kirshbaum, 69, will leave his position as publisher of Amazon’s US trade publishing imprints on January 17, roughly two and a half years after joining the company, as first reported this morning by Shelf Awareness. Since that report, Amazon has officially confirmed what Shelf had “learned” and supplied the departure date.
